What does building four landmark products teach you?

That the best outcomes happen when great products meet great timing — and that neither is an accident. I help founders, VCs, and PE firms create those conditions deliberately.

Twenty-five years of building
things that matter.

I'm Guillaume — but most people just call me "G". I started my product career at a time when the internet was still figuring itself out, and I've been building ever since.

I've been part of four stories that turned out well: Agile Software (IPO, 1999), Zuora (NYSE IPO, 2018), Bluejeans (acquired by Verizon), and RMS (acquired by Moody's) — $4.5 billion in equity value, and a lot of hard-earned lessons along the way.

Today I'm SVP of Product at Lattice. But I also spend time teaching at INSEAD, and advising founders and investors through NX Product — because the best way to keep learning is to stay close to people who are actively building.

My approach is direct but warm. I'll push back when I think you're wrong, and I'll celebrate when you get it right. The goal is always to help you build something that genuinely works.

Four exits. Four different lessons.

Bluejeans → Verizon
Head of Product as Bluejeans was acquired by Verizon — a masterclass in strategic positioning.

RMS → Moody's
Part of the product leadership team as RMS was acquired by Moody's Analytics.

Giving back to the next generation.

As a Guest Lecturer at INSEAD, I bring real-world product experience into one of the world's top business schools. Because theory without practice is just theory.

"The best product leaders I've met aren't the smartest people in the room. They're the ones who've built the most empathy — for their users, their teams, and their market."

Clear on what you need?
Let's talk.

01
PM Process Assessment

For VCs and PE firms: a thoughtful, grounded assessment of how well a company's product management processes actually work — uncovering the gaps between what teams say they do and what's really happening on the ground.

02
PM Process Improvement for Startups

Working directly with founders to fix discovery, prioritisation, roadmapping, and delivery rhythms. Practical, empathetic, and anchored in what it actually takes to build at speed without losing direction.

03
Product Organisation Design

Helping growing companies structure their product teams for the next stage — from hiring frameworks to operating rhythms to culture. Built from 25 years of doing it, not just studying it.

I'd love to hear
what you're building.
